Rising to the Challenge of Our Moment: Being “Anti-Fragile” in Fragile Times

by | Apr 30, 2020 | 5 comments

Disruption can be unsettling—but it can also open the door to radical creativity and transformation. The author Nassim Nicholas Taleb has written about the concept of being “anti-fragile,” which means becoming stronger in the face of adversity. This idea has strong parallels with Craig’s teachings on having “an evolutionary relationship to life.” What if we could relate to this difficult time we find ourselves in as a time to evolve into a stronger, more enlightened version of ourselves? In this 6-minute video, Craig explores how being anti-fragile is one of the most important evolutionary capacities we can use to navigate in this challenging moment.

Below the video, I’ve also included an audio recording of the talk, if you’d prefer to engage the content in that way.

I think we got to look at being anchored in the storms sometimes we are blinded by our insecurities and resemblance we got to work with the capacity to overcome diversity and regulate our focuse in a new parallel finding a focal point in the midst of crisis utopia adversity

I just finished your 12 week course – Boundless Gratitude!
I’ve been practicing my Path for many decades, evolving my self and my perspectives.
Your Wisdoms bring to light my own personal conclusions about many aspects.
    Particularly about Enlightenment.

I gave up attaching myself to the old cliché of needing to wait until after decades of disciplined work, then most likely needing to wait countless eon’s before enlightenment. That turned me off to actively pursuing Enlightenment… Instead, my intention for the last few years was to just practice Enlightened thoughts, speech and actions along with a no stress, just let it be meditation practice…
    Then I found your course,
It was like coming home to a place that is indeed.
    Always Already Alright!

I have been struggling with humanities’ collective unevolved state of rude ignorant, intolerant, misled, hate filled, dumbshit narcissistic crap for the last 5 years.
I’ve been in state of limbo, searching for ways to make a difference.

Your guidance has help turn many challenges into doors of Transcendence.
Still, there are fools that by their nature try to harsh mine…
    but now… I don’t care.
    I don’t need to know.
    I’m fine with whatever… Is.

Thanks for your service of Spirit;-)

Thank you for the reminder that adversity is essential for growth, tha our “comfort zone” is a trap. I use the Release Technique and.or the Sedona Method, which I highly recommend but any metaphysicalpath we choose is the right one if we are totally commited to it. loooooooooooove.

The actual situation shows we gave our power away about different
levels of society : on a political , economical and especially on a scientific level :
we gave already for a long time our health in the hands of a medical system that is ruled by finances and based on scientific approach that sees illness as something that has to be defeated by suppressing it and therefore not taking care about the root causes , so we stay helpless .

I think humans must evolve their spirituality at the same rate as technical change occurs; ie exponentially.
